Intuitively I like creating very bright paintings. This brought me to design two ideas: Art of Nosybirds and Art of Weathermap. Both subjects represent the fast changing time where we are living in. And both carry a message with a colorful outcome.
ART OF NOSYBIRDS®
Actually, the thought behind the Art of Nosybirds is very meaningful. I have been noticing a diminishing of our day to day observation of our real life. We have to admit, the magnetic pool of our fast changing – often digital – world, can really be overwhelming. And influencing at the same time. I guess, that was not the idea.
The small and simply styled Nosybirds look like little crusaders, and appear in most of my paintings. Encouraging the viewer to keep his or her very own fantasy and look around as it is for the very first time. And really wonder about the common and uncommon details which we do not see anymore. In fact, that’s where many things starts.
Our climate and weather affects us all. Our daily weather is always “there”. Next, there is the big discussion about the development of world climate. Both inspired me to create Art of Weathermap. Every Weathermap is unique. There are millions of different places and millions of different weather moments which can be transformed into a one of a kind Weathermap.
