A DIFFERENT WAY OF LOOKING.

You know it. Everything around you is constantly asking for your attention. News, messages, feeds, ads, work and much more. And newsflash, it’s accelerating. There is always something wanting to be seen. But hey, your attention is precious. 

That’s why we started Nosybirds. We wanted something like a surprising little reminder. Something that keeps us awake in the daily flow of unasked information and endless feeds. Something that helps us keep an eye on what we really like and love to see.

The idea started many years ago with a simple drawing by the four year old daughter of Jos Brölmann, founder of Nosybirds. The little kid drew in a few minutes a strange, curious bird, without any rules how a bird should look like. That way of free looking and the drawing became the start for Nosybirds.

So, we turned the simple drawing into a character with one job. Stay curious, look up, look around and look again. So the only thing a Nosybird really has to do is look. We wanted Nosybirds to have a function beyond simply being nice design objects. You can place one wherever you want. As an unusual decoration at home, a little reminder on your desk or looking out of your window. You name it. And finally, there’s one special quality. You can’t switch a Nosybird off. It keeps looking and reminding you. Day and night. How’s that?
